Skin and surface hygiene specialist, GOJO Industries-Europe Ltd, will be at Stand 101 at IPS 2018

The team of GOJO Healthcare Support Managers will be welcoming visitors to its Stand 101 at this year’s annual Infection Prevention Society (IPS) conference, taking place at Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow from 30th September to 2nd October 2018.

GOJO, the leading global producer of skin health and hygiene solutions for away-from-home settings, combines scientific expertise, effective formulations and state-of-the-art technology to promote healthy and compliant hand hygiene behaviour. The specialist team at IPS will be offering support and advice on their total solution approach to infection prevention in healthcare facilities, to keep both people and places healthy.

Working in partnership with healthcare managers, GOJO can help implement effective hand and surface hygiene regimes. This includes supplying innovative dispensers and fully virucidal formulas with short contact times, which are clinically proven to keep skin healthy. In addition, the team of Healthcare Support Managers offer practical support, best practice training and awareness-raising signage and leaflets to influence hygienic behaviour throughout healthcare facilities. Bespoke programmes are developed to meet the needs of individual facilities, following an audit if required, and consider the following:

  • Formulation
  • Technology
  • Support
  • Training
  • Behaviour
  • Implementation

Chris Wakefield, Vice President, European Marketing & Product Development, GOJO Industries-Europe Ltd comments, “GOJO, THE INVENTORS OF PURELL™, is a trusted brand in healthcare facilities around the world. As a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Private Organizations for Patient Safety group, we are a strong advocate of the total solution approach to making hand hygiene second nature to everyone in a healthcare setting.

“We understand that specialist formulations and innovative dispensers are only half of the process, in successfully controlling and preventing the spread of infection. The other 50% relies on people’s behaviour. Staff, visitors and patients alike must be actively encouraged to practise good hand hygiene. Our support services and educational signage and materials help do just this. GOJO is a specialist partner for healthcare facilities, providing a tailored, effective, total solution”.
